Mystic had noticed a change in Princess and now the cat had taken up shop in a small basket hidden from everyone. Mystic had had enough cats in her life to know when her cat was having kittens. She also knew Princess couldn’t stand the other male cat in the house and Princess didn’t leave what. That left one suspect.
”Hello?”
”Hey there fluffy, where’s Lucky?”
“You called me to talk to my cat?”
”Yes where is he?”
“Weirdo, hold on.”
“Hi Mystic!”
“Don’t hi me! You knocked up princess.”
“Um… she had kittens?”
”She’s having them now. So you did do it! When?”
”When you were gone for a while.”
“What?!”
“I’m coming over.”
”Hey what’s going on?” Pyra asks Lucky as he hands up.
“I’m gonna be a dad,” he replies.
”With Princess?”
”No with Mr. Bojangles. Joshua!”
“Yeah?” He asks coming out of the den.
“Um, can you come with me to Mystic’s?”
“Why?”
”Cause Princess is having kittens and I don’t think she will hit me as much with you there.”
“Uh okay…OH! Princess is having your kittens.”
“Duh, man you guys are slow. Come on,” he says pulling Josh to the door. “I wonder how many she’ll have.”
“Do you want boys or girls?” Lucky looked at Josh as if he were insane.
“Who cares, its not like I’m gonna say no I didn’t want a boy take it back. People are so weird.”
Josh threw an arm around Lucky then frowned, “Your not going in like that are you?”
Oh yeah,” he says becoming a cat. Josh picks him up and they continue their walk through the woods to Mystic’s house. Josh knocked on the door.
Mystic opened the door and looked far from upset she looked worried.
“What’s wrong?”
“Its Princess she won’t feed the kitten, she just left it there.”
Lucky jumped out of Josh’s arms and ran to Princess. They followed and saw hissing, body puffing, and Princess actually try to swipe at Lucky.
”What the hell is going on?” Mystic exclaims.
“Wait, I think…yeah okay cool.” Josh says having somewhat followed the dialogue.
“What just happened?” Mystic asks the cat that walks in front of her.
”Princess will take care of Isis, but after she can take care of herself she wants her gone,” Lucky explains laying down on the floor in front of Josh.
“You named her Isis?” Josh asks.
“Why wouldn’t she before?”
“She says Isis is weird and not normal, yeah so Josh you like kittens right?”
“As long as she behaves better than you do,” Josh says grinning.
"Oh so funny you dork.”
”So I have a cat now? Isis…so it’s a girl?”
“Well I didn’t name her bob for a reason.”
”Heh heh Bob.”
