Saturday….
"Josh what the hell are you doing?" Pyra asked as she was pulled off the couch and shoved up the stairs to her room where Lucky was waiting.
"You are going out with us tonight."
"I don't…"
"Really feel like it…maybe next time blah blah blah you are going. See I even picked out nice clothes for you," Lucky said pointing out the spread on the bed. Black and blue stripped plants with dark blue ribbon on the sides of the legs and a glittery cookie monster tank top.
"Why do I have to go?"
"Because I said so and if you don't I'll cough a hair ball in all your shoes."
"And I'll shave you fur ball."
"I'm so scared, get dressed, it matches your new hair and everything, we'll be back in five minutes and I swear if you flame out," Lucky said menacingly.
"Alright alright I'll get dressed geez."
Pyra waved the boys out of her room and sighed. She hadn't been out since she couldn't remember when. All the drama with Adam had put a damper on the whole out thing. Changing she went into her closet and pulled out her black converse and with a wave of her hand the red laces turned blue to match the shirt and the pants. Slipping them on as Lucky popped back into the room he looked her over and pulled her back into the hall.
"Well then let's go," Lucky said grinning.
"Were are we going any way?"
"Who cares," Lucky replied jumping down the stairs. To where Josh was waiting Pyra's jacket in hand.
The trio walked out Pyra linking arms with Josh as Lucky urged them to move faster. Ignoring the cat boy JC looked at his less than chipper roommate.
"Do you miss him that much?"
"Oddly enough no, I just have no motivation anymore. What's the point? If I have to be 'just friends' one more time I'll scream."
"Come on going out doesn't have to mean meeting someone," JC started. "We are just tired of seeing you in pajamas all day."
"Andrei!" They heard Lucky exclaim from in front of them and sure enough the shorter vampire was standing on the other side of the gate and by the looks of it had just arrived. "Hello," he said nodding to Pyra and JC as Lucky kissed him on the neck.
Lucky continued to lead now talking animatedly to his boyfriend. They all headed into the city and Andrei led them into a vampire club. Now that that secret was out in the open he felt it would be interesting. The entered the club together, and Lucky quickly dragged Andrei to his favorite table.
"Is that fresh meat I smell?" A female vampire said approaching Pyra and JC as they had gotten separated from Lucky and Andrei.
"Is that retard flambé I smell?"
"Calm, down," JC whispered rubbing Pyra's arms.
"I'm calm; see look the building is still standing."
"The protection order only extends for his little pet, he should know better."
"We should go," Josh pleaded. Pyra sighed but nodded.
"Fine let's just tell them bye," Pyra said pulling JC towards the table. The female vampires allowed Pyra to pass then put her hand on JC's arm.
Pyra whirled and grabbed the vampire by the neck dangling a few inches from the ground she growled out. "Don't touch what's mine," she snarled tossing her into his wall, then walked over to Andrei.
"I'm sorry but I have had my fill of vampire bitches for a lifetime. I think I will just head home thanks anyway. Night Lucky," Pyra said giving each boy a kiss on the cheek.
"Okay but don't go home okay Joshua?" Lucky asked
"Sure, we'll see what happens," JC said leading Pyra out of the bar.
Once they were outside Pyra turned to JC. "I don't really want to go to a club."
"How do I put this? Oh yeah, too bad," JC said leading her down the street.
"Joshua come on. Let's just go home."
"Just like half an hour," JC said turning a corner and leading Pyra to an upscale club. Bypassing the red rope with nary a glance they were inside the club that was playing a throbbing techno remix of the killers.
"Always nice to fuck with a good song," Pyra muttered as JC pulled her onto the dance floor and started moving forcing her to follow suit.
Half an hour later they paused for drinks, getting soda for the both of them. They sat at a tiny table."
"Was that so bad?"
"No but I was just dancing with you, nothing wrong with that."
"Nice to know, ready to go another round?"
"Sounds like a plan," Pyra said taking the arm that reached for her and heading back out onto the floor.
They had been dancing a while getting closer and more comfortable when an song started and they both wanted to comment to each other causing a small brushing of the lips. Both jumped back surprised looking at the other nervously. They were both single at the moment but more to the point they knew where that could lead.
JC was the one to take the initiative stepping forward and kissing Pyra again before pulling away to look at her. Blinking she put a hand to her lips and stared. Taking a step back she simply backed out of the club shocked. They weren't drunk so that was not an excuse and she really didn't know what to think.
